Wear resistance
The fine structure resulting from the agglomeration of powder particles gives the product a very regular and isotropic microstructure synonymous with the highest performances in terms of tearing and/or stress resistance.

Geometry
With this process, we can produce parts from 30 grams to 1 kg. As the only variable is the compression tool, a wide range of geometrical possibilities is available.

Modular composition
Powder metallurgy allows the metallurgical structure to be enriched, for example by adding carbides to the tool steel base, thus "customising" the composition of the tool in anticipation of it's intended use.

Density
Parts made with the Scanpac® process are highly dense (>99%).
